Famine

Famine is a 2.5D puzzle platformer game where you play as a boy lost in a forest, trying to catch a magnificent, glowing butterfly.
This is a short atmospheric game demo with some platforming, stealth, puzzles, and chases.
The controls are very simple: arrow keys to move, CTRL to grab items that the boy attempts to walk around (rocks and logs).
The trailer was made before the game was textured. Please excuse the lack of colors :)

good
the game is a lot of fun but the camera has some issues and trees and other items get in front of the camera to often. Other than that my only complaint with the game is that I fell through the floor at one point and had to load a previous save.

I have noticed the falling through issue myself, and am trying to figure out how to fix it. Hopefully it won't take too long!
With regards to the camera, we were trying to achieve a sort of parallax effect, both from behind the player and in front. Do you think we should keep some objects in front of the camera, or try and remove all of them completely?
